Contest rules
1. Eligibility:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The Pro Hockey Dream Gear Contest (collectively, the “Contest”) is comprised of two (2) grand prizes. Contest is open to legal residents of Canada.
Employees of Pro Hockey Life Sporting Goods Inc, their respective affiliates or related companies, licensees, franchisees, other promotion partners, and advertising and promotional agencies (such employees and entities, the “Excluded Parties”), and members of their immediate family (defined as parents, siblings, children and spouses, regardless of where they live) or individuals living in the same household of such employees, whether related or not, are not eligible to enter the Contest.
2. How to Enter:
Contest begins at 9:00:01 AM Eastern Standard Time on September 1st, 2009 and ends at 11:59:59 PM Eastern Standard Time on November 30, 2009 (“Contest period”).
To enter, visit www.phldreamgear.com, answer the questionnaire, build your dream hockey gear by selecting one (1) item per category and fill out the entry form. There is no purchase necessary. Only one entry per valid email address will be accepted.
Only completed entries will be accepted. All entries must be filled out during the Contest Period.
Pro Hockey Life, in its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to void any Contest entries that are made in contravention of these Official Rules or that are designed to compromise the integrity of the Contest.
3. Grand Prize Drawing:
A random drawing will be conducted in Laval, Quebec on or about December 2nd, 2009 at approximately 5:00 PM ET from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
If the winning entrant cannot be contacted and/or does not respond to first attempted notification within three (3) days after first attempted notification, or if any prize notification is returned as undeliverable, he/she will be disqualified and the prize may be awarded to an alternate entrant.
4. Grand Prize:
TWO (2) GRAND PRIZES,one (1) complete PLAYER gear as selected by the winning PLAYER entrant and one (1) complete GOALIE gear as selected by the winning GOALIE entrant.

The approximate retail value (“ARV”) is five thousand ($5,000) Canadian dollars.
5. Prize claiming:
A Pro Hockey Life representative will contact the winning entrants. Winners must claim their prizes by visiting the nearest Pro Hockey Life/Sports Gilbert Rousseau location upon a mutually agreed date and time.
When claiming their prizes, some models, color or sizes may not be available in-store. Consequently, winning entrants may need to select a different item.
Winner not entitled to the difference between stated ARV and actual prize value, if any.
By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph and municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotape, distribution over the internet and picture date storage) which Pro Hockey Life and The Hockey News may deem appropriate.
